FAQs

Questions? Here are some answers. Need something else? Feel free to chat with us or send us an email at contact@bloggerlegal.com

In essence, to save you money.
The reason forms can’t be personalized and specific questions cannot be answered is because if Blogger Legal were to participate in those activities, it may be considered in some venues to be the practice of law, and Blogger Legal cannot participate in the practice of law without significant, costly changes in structure which would also require us to offer legal services (which we currently do not do) and charge higher prices.

The way Blogger Legal is set up, offering forms, samples, and guides, is designed to be used as a general reference tool for you to use at your own risk, and we recommend that you consult an attorney if you have any questions about the process.  Hopefully, our forms and guides enable you to realize more specifically what kind of legal help you might need or which questions you need answered, which could cut down on consultation fees.

While we are able to explain the meaning of any blank fields in the contracts and forms provided by Blogger Legal, we are unable to tell you what amount they should be.  For example, we cannot tell you what would be a fair price for any particular work because there’s too many variables that go into it, and, as described above, we cannot answer specific questions in order to keep prices down for everyone.

Rest assured you will be able to work with the PDFs in just a few minutes. If you have opened the PDFs in an internet browser (other than Chrome, which sometimes preserves editing capabilities) you probably lost the ability to edit your forms.

These editable contract templates from Blogger Legal are created in Adobe Acrobat Pro and are intended to be edited in Adobe Reader for free.

Using Adobe Reader preserves the formatting and capabilities of the PDFs.

This includes:

  • Maintaining font size and alignment with text to provide professional grade documents.
  • The ability to read our built in “tips” we added to each fillable field.
    • For example, if you move the cursor over the editable field in the first paragraph of the templates, you would have a little note pop up saying “insert name of your company here.” This lets us keep your document clutter free and when printed the notes are not visible.
  • We expect that you will edit your templates, print and sign them. Then email scanned copies to the party you are forming an agreement with. With Adobe Reader you can also enable online e-sign/send and sign capabilities via a paid service (minimal costs).
  • With the FREE Adobe Reader program you have the ability to fill in your templates and save them.

You can download Adobe Reader from: https://get.adobe.com/reader/ for free.

If you purchase an agreement and you find that there is an important clause that is missing from the agreement please don’t hesitate to email us at contact@bloggerlegal. These contracts have been reviewed and revised many times with the intention of being a thorough yet concise and professional document. If we missed the boat on something we are happy to review it. If that missing information is an asset to the contract template, we will make the edit to the template and update your copy with it. Since you added value to our contracts and we are all about providing value, we will also give you a 25% off your entire order coupon to say “Hey, you rock. Thanks!”

The idea behind selling the guides separately was to further reduce the price of your products.

Initially the items were priced at $60 an item as we began testing the final products with bloggers. Through our testing/research with bloggers we learned that many of the more advanced bloggers understood the meaning and context of the clauses in the contracts. They either minimally referenced the guides or ignored them altogether.

The more novice and intermediate bloggers leaned on the guides heavily, however. So to create a value based product we wanted to create a sense of fairness to the advanced bloggers and we broke apart the two piece products into individual SKUs.

The guides are meant to be a reference point to your contracts. While they do provide insight into the clauses you will find in your agreement templates, they are not structured in a way that provides you with a road-map to creating your own contracts.

The process of writing contracts is a highly specialized one where terms that seem interchangeable can mean very different things legally. To create a contract that protects your interest fully in an enforceable way is what attorneys like us are trained and experienced with.

We are launching with a select number of products. In addition to the products you see here, we will continue to roll out new products. We plan on having a new template/terms and conditions/guide available for you every week. If there is something you would like to see but don’t, please do not hesitate to send us an email.

We are happy to take requests and though we can’t make a contract to suit your specific situation, we would be happy to make a template you can edit to your needs.  Email any product ideas/suggestions to contact@bloggerlegal.com.

After you order you will receive two emails; a confirmation email and a download link email. You will have to download your products from your account center.

Blogger Legal takes your sensitive data and personal information incredibly seriously.

Our site works with a premium card processing company with the highest level of security measures in place to protect your credit card information.

In addition to that, Blogger Legal has a SSL certificate to protect any information stored on our servers (though not credit cards, we do not keep that stored on our servers.) If you look in your web address bar you will probably see either a green bar or a green box that says Blogger Legal, LLC in it. What that means is we have a security certificate so advanced that in order to obtain it we went through an extended verification to prove who we are, what we do and what security measures we have in place to protect your data. That green box/bar means we take it as seriously as possible.
